The Client wanted a space that would take advantage on the beauty of the site and views, while respecting the fragile forestry of the private lot of 60 acres. The complex of buildings which traces naturally occurring bowl in the landscape is sited on the slight slope, gaining forest views.
The residence employs energy efficient geothermal heat pump, passive solar design, insulated concrete form walls, green roofs and walls.
